We believe children and youth are not just the future of the church—they are the church, right now.
 Our ministry is designed to meet young people where they are, helping them grow in faith, discover their voice, and lead with confidence in the world around them.
On Sundays
We offer two age-based classrooms: one for Pre-K through elementary school students and another for middle and high school youth. These spaces are designed to be safe, welcoming, and rooted in faith formation that is developmentally appropriate, engaging, and affirming.
Youth ministry gatherings take place on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month. On 1st Sundays, youth engage in lesson-based spiritual formation, while 3rd Sundays focus on mission projects or fun, fellowship-driven activities.

Our youth ministry meets on the first and third Sundays of each month:
1st Sundays
focus on lessons and curriculum that ground our youth in scripture, theology, and real-life application.
3rd Sundays
3rd Sundays are centered around fun activities and mission projects that help them build relationships, grow in joy, and contribute to the common good.
Mission
The mission of our youth ministry is simple: to help young people grow spiritually, have fun together, and explore how their faith can make a difference in the world. Through lessons, service projects, and shared experiences, we encourage them to ask big questions, take ownership of their beliefs, and find joy in living their values—at school, at home, and in the community.
Commitment
Saint James is committed to youth-led ministry. That means our young people have opportunities to shape worship, generate ideas, and take ownership of the ministry itself—from planning events to leading conversations. With the support of adult mentors and church leaders, we help develop emerging leaders who are equipped to serve both now and in the future.
