Where are the services held?
Saint James services are in our sanctuary on the southeast side of Greensboro, NC near Florida and Bennett Streets. Come in person, mask optional, or utilize our streaming services every Sunday through Facebook, YouTube and Zoom. Please visit our Home Page for service information.
What kind of church are you?
Saint James is a part of Presbyterian Church (USA) which has about 2.5 million members and more than 11,000 churches. To learn more about Presbyterian Church (USA) visit www.pcusa.org .
Saint James has roots going back over 150 years . Our rich heritage includes starting the first formal education for African Americans in Greensboro and connecting to the community in ways that address issues of the day.
While people from all over central North Carolina join us, our primary ministry is to our neighbors in the Triad area.
Saint James is a purpose driven church that believes that God has called us to live out our purpose “to touch lives through Jesus Christ by providing joyful worship, life changing teaching and dynamic meaningful ministries that serve to bring a new generation of believers and to nurture those who are already growing in faith.” We have organized our ministries around this purpose.
Most importantly, Saint James is a safe place for people who are looking for answers to their spiritual questions. It is also a place where those who have decided to follow Jesus Christ can be encouraged and grow in their spiritual understanding.

We are a welcoming congregation that will ask you to sign our guest’s card so that we can collect some basic information. All information collected will be held confidential.
